This project involved recruiting 21 respondents to an Internet Café in Leeds for a whole evening.
The respondents took part in completing a number of online applications for savings accounts/financial products, both for the client brand and various competitors. Following this the respondents also took part in a group discussion to assess the level of complexity in completing the online applications and their ease in understanding the whole process.
The recruitment criteria was quite complex in that respondents had to have Internet access, to be web literate, to have a savings account or be looking for one, to be non-rejecters of the client brand, to have a minimum of £1,000 available to save and to consider buying financial products on-line. A spread on gender, age, life stage, dependents & SEG was also required.
We successfully recruited these respondents with 100% attendance on the night.
