Quant hall tests |
As part of an ongoing program of NPD research being carried out by this drinks manufacturer, Protel was asked to carry out hall tests amongst consumers of specified drinks. The research objectives were to understand consumer preferences and measure ratings on product appearance, aroma, taste, after-taste, refreshment and overall. Chilled product samples were used throughout the tests.
As part of this key strategic project, Protel was asked to design the questionnaire as well as advise on issues such as monadic rotation.
Recruitment was conducted on-street, with respondents profiled through responses to attitudinal statements. 300 interviews were conducted across 3 cells and 16 products, with quotas on gender, age and SEG.
Protel completed the research on time and to budget, meeting all of the required quotas. Data processing was conducted by Protel, and data analysis was delivered to the client. Protel has since undertaken and successfully completed similar hall tests with equal success for Market Refreshment.
